We repair it, replace it, and install it right.
Air conditioning in Los Angeles isn’t optional — it’s infrastructure. Summers are long, systems run hard for months at a time, and the homes they’re serving aren’t all built the same. Older ductwork. Homes that have been remodeled or expanded. Equipment added years after the house was built. Newer systems designed around different efficiency and comfort demands.
We’ve been working on cooling systems in Los Angeles since 1981 — central AC, mini-splits, older systems, and newer high-efficiency equipment. We’ve fixed and installed it all.
01
For systems that aren’t keeping up, broke down overnight, or have been repaired repeatedly without the problem actually being solved. We find the actual cause before recommending anything.
02
For systems where the repair math stops making sense, or the equipment has reached the end of what it can do. We assess the full system before any equipment gets ordered so the new system actually performs the way it should.
03
Ductless cooling for rooms, additions, ADUs, garages, and older homes where extending ductwork isn’t practical. Efficient, quiet, and built for the spaces where traditional ductwork doesn’t make sense.
Los Angeles isn’t one climate — it’s several. The Valley runs 10–15 degrees hotter than the Westside on a typical summer day. That’s not a marginal difference. A system sized and installed for a Westside home with a marine layer rolling in at 4 PM is a different job than a Valley home that sees weeks of triple-digit heat every summer.
In the Valley, attics can hit 150 degrees in summer. That heat radiates into the living space and into ductwork running through it — both of which the AC has to fight every time it runs. A system that seems correctly sized can still struggle in the Valley if attic conditions and ductwork aren’t accounted for.
On the Westside, ocean air accelerates corrosion on outdoor equipment. Hillside homes have access challenges and longer duct runs. Many older homes were built before central air was common. Ductwork added later was often designed for convenience, not performance.
We’ve been working both sides of the hill since the start. We know what these jobs actually require.
Most cooling calls start with a repair. Some end with a replacement. And some homes are simply better suited for a mini-split than a ducted system.
We work on all of it. Whatever the right solution is, we’ll explain why before anything gets repaired, replaced, or installed.
Whether it’s a repair, a replacement, or a system that’s never cooled the house properly — we’ll take a look, find the cause, and walk you through your options.
