My dad grew up in the Fairfax District and started Hoffman Cooling & Heating there in 1981, knocking on doors and building the company one job at a time. More than four decades later, we’re still working across Los Angeles.
Los Angeles isn’t one kind of city. It spans dozens of neighborhoods, each with its own construction era, microclimate, and HVAC challenges. A hillside home in Beachwood Canyon has different demands than a mid-century home in Los Feliz or a remodeled property in Miracle Mile. Many homes have been expanded or retrofitted over the years. Some never had central air. Others have aging systems that were never quite right. The work isn’t the same, and we don’t treat it like it is.
